      The Silo Hotel occupies the top six floors of a former grain silo that originally stored maize. Its exterior is defined by shimmering pillowed-glass windows that reflect the surrounding harbour and Table Mountain. The hotel sits directly above the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa, giving guests immediate access to the continent's most extensive collection of modern African art.

      The hotel has only 28 suites, each individually decorated with original artworks and hand-picked furnishings. Every room offers floor-to-ceiling windows that frame either Table Mountain, the V&A Waterfront, or the working harbour. The bathrooms include heated floors, and the minibar is stocked with complimentary snacks and drinks that are restocked daily.

      The Granary Café serves breakfast and lunch with a menu based on local, seasonal ingredients. The hotel's restaurant, The Silo Rooftop, is open for dinner and offers a set menu or à la carte options with views over the harbour and mountain.
